The Echo hedge trimmers will serve you well for where you are at now. If you plan on growing and doing regular shrub maintenance you will at some point want something a bit better than what Echo offers in trimmers, but for a startup they will do fine. The Ryobi probably over heated because they are not meant for extended use. For $300 you can buy a low end Stihl trimmer and it will last you plenty long enough until you can justify a better grade of trimmer. |

Its was just a joke
My main trimmer is a shindawi made in the 90's,,i have a Stilh as backup,,but i hate the little auto feed heads on them,,i hear if you put Shindawi speed feed heads on they are awesome,,have not got around to it yet,, Buy the best trimmer you can afford and you will save money in the long run "buy cheap = buying twice" says the lawnies motto. |

Thats interesting folks have reccomended Stihl so you are going with Echo ?
I use Echo blowers and they have gone well,,never seen an Echo trimmer,,,hopefully it serves you well,,don't forget you need a backup machine as well,,,one of everythings not enough in this business,,,if you can't afford it now as soon as you get a few dollars get the backups,,start with the trimmer,, |
